GDP Growth

GDP in the United States has been growing nicely for a very long time.  Recessions knock down growth periodically.  Note that growth is steady, with the impact of tax cuts or increases barely discernible.

Actual GDP growth varies a great deal year to year.  Recessions periodically break up our growth rate and will continue to so.
