IPAD's in Government

The Peoria County Board purchased iPads for board members to use for government business to prevent the government from spending more than an estimated $9,000 a year mailing out hard copy packets of documents to officials. That move is projected to pay for itself within two to three years.

Edinborough, Scotland is doing the same thing.

An interesting trend. Local government produces an enormous amount of paper.
